ABOUT KT ABORIGINAL FINE ART

KT Aboriginal Fine Art is a 100% Aboriginal-owned art and lifestyle brand led by Kelly Taylor and her daughters, based in Ceduna, South Australia. We sell original Aboriginal artworks, prints, jewellery, home décor (like aluminium splashbacks), and wearable art including our signature hooded blankets.

Each piece is deeply inspired by culture, family stories, and life on Country — designed to carry meaning and connect people to Aboriginal art in contemporary spaces.

FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

It all started with a Facebook page back in 2019. What began as a creative hobby quickly gained a loyal following. With over 25,000 fans today, we’ve grown into a global art business, offering original paintings, splashbacks, prints, jewellery, homewares, and more.

We’re proud to ship our work around the world, collaborating with incredible organisations and individuals who support First Nations voices through art.

Our Family, Culture & Bloodline Connection

My name is Kelly Taylor, and KT Aboriginal FIne Art was foudned in 2016 by me and my youngest daughter T'keyah

I belong to the Arrernte and Yankunytjatjara peoples through my mother, Lorraine Taylor, and my grandmother, Millie Lennon, and to the Kokatha people through my grandfather, Edgar Dingaman.

My daughters, T’keyah, Kelilah, and Taliyah inherit these cultural bloodlines through me. On their father’s side they are also proud Wirangu and Narungga women, giving them a deep and strong connection to Country across South Australia.

Together, as a family, we share our stories through canvas, colour, and creativity, honouring our ancestors and continuing our cultural legacy through art that is deeply personal & powerful.

We work together from our home studio in Ceduna, South Australia, creating deeply personal artworks that speak to both heritage and contemporary life.

Collaborations & Features

  • SA Water – Commissioned a powerful artwork for their Adelaide CBD workplace to launch their 6th RAP. The piece maps the journey of water across South Australia, with symbolic community handprints from the RAP launch event.
  • Vogue Living – Featured the story of our mother-daughter collaboration and cultural legacy through First Nations art.
  • Royal Flying Doctor Service – Commissioned artwork featured on new uniforms, launched during NAIDOC Week and displayed at RFDS Adelaide base.
  • Country Arts SA – Commissioned greeting card artwork by Kelly and T’keyah, shared with partners and communities nationwide.
  • Disney x Bluethumb – Holiday art collaboration for “From Our Family to Yours,” featuring painted Christmas stars by the entire Taylor/Ware family.
  • Bluethumb NFT – Digital Muses – Kelly’s debut digital collection, reimagining her favourite paintings for the NFT space.
  • SANE Australia – Commissioned a piece titled “Heal the People” to raise awareness around mental health in Aboriginal communities.
  • SALA x Foodland – T’keyah’s artwork featured on limited-edition shopping bags available across Foodland stores in SA.
  • Australian Taxation Office – Commissioned a NAIDOC Week artwork celebrating connection and community across Australia.
  • Recreation Beauty – Holiday gift box collaboration featuring exclusive artwork by T’keyah; partial proceeds donated to RFDS.
  • Northline Transport – Created a large-scale artwork for their 40th anniversary, reproduced on a shipping container for national display.
  • SA Road Services – Commissioned an artwork by Kelly Taylor that reflects the mission of “connecting communities and people through the South Australian outback road network.” The design symbolises movement, safety, and unity through Country.
  • Peak Iron Mines & AMYAC – Kelly Taylor, an AMYAC member, was commissioned to create a stunning piece representing Peak Iron Mines’ partnership with the Aboriginal community. The painting is displayed in their Adelaide office and reflects shared journeys, respect, and cultural consultation.
  • Ingham Australia – Commissioned artwork titled “Ingham’s Journey” by Kelly Taylor, representing the organisation’s commitment to learning, building stronger relationships with Aboriginal communities, and understanding cultural heritage within their workforce.
  • First Response Security – Kelly Taylor was commissioned to produce an artwork and digital design for the company’s upcoming project. The piece celebrates unity, responsibility, and community strength through collaboration.
  • Workskil Australia – Commissioned artwork by Kelly Taylor and T’keyah Ware for their ongoing efforts in Aboriginal community employment and empowerment. The design reflects opportunity, growth, and self-determination.

Our Vision

We believe that art is a way to connect, to heal, and to honour our ancestors. Through our work, we continue the cultural traditions passed down by our grandmother, while empowering the next generation to share their voices through creativity.
