Splashback Terms and Conditons

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of Aboriginal artwork reproduced on aluminium splashbacks sold or supplied by KT Aboriginal Fine Art. By purchasing or receiving a splashback featuring this artwork, you agree to the following:

1. Artwork Copyright and Ownership

• The artworks featured on our splashbacks are the original creations of KT Aboriginal Fine Art artists.
• Copyright and all intellectual property rights remain with the individual Artist.
• Purchase of the splashback grants a reproduction license only, not ownership of the artwork itself.

2. Licensed Usage

• The artwork is licensed exclusively for one-off print reproduction on an aluminium splashback.
• The license is non-transferable and intended for single-use per splashback unit.
• An artwork license fee is applied and added to the final total once the splashback order is confirmed.
• Reproduction, resale, adaptation, or use of the artwork for any other purpose is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from KT Aboriginal Fine Art and the Artist.

3. Attribution

• Each splashback will be accompanied by the appropriate credit: "Artist Name – Artwork Title".

4. Cultural Respect

• The artworks represent the cultural stories, heritage, and identity of our Aboriginal artists.
• The artwork must not be altered, distorted, cropped, or misrepresented.
• Respectful handling and display of the artwork are expected at all times.

5. Product Warranty

• Our aluminium splashbacks are covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, fading, or peeling under normal indoor conditions.
• The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, misuse, exposure to outdoor conditions, or negligence.

6. Splashback Installation

• Installation should be carried out following the provided guidelines.
• Splashbacks can be installed by confident DIYers or professional tradespeople, including cabinet makers, builders, and splashback installers.

7. Marketing and Imagery

• Customers are welcome to share photos of their installed splashbacks.
• With customer permission, KT Aboriginal Fine Art may feature submitted images on our website, marketing materials, and social media platforms.

8. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
